Cathcart Clocks

Our workshop is run by Patrick Robinson who with a lifetime’s interest in clocks has been repairing them for over a decade. Patrick’s wife Linda keeps the business running smoothly.

An older man with glasses and a beard is sitting at a wooden workbench in a room with gray walls. The desk has various tools, books, and artwork on it. Behind him, there are two clocks on the wall and a small dark cabinet with drawers.

Why Clocks?

Patrick remembers sitting as a child in his grandparents’ parlour listening to the steady tick of the wall clock they had to the side of the chimney breast. That clock had been in their family for close on 100 years then and now hangs in his home, marking off time as reliably and reassuringly as ever.

Services

Clock Repair and Servicing

Most clock repairs are straight forward but nothing is beyond repair—clocks can be bought back from even the most desperate states through careful dismantling, cleaning, and rebuilding.

Find Me a Clock

It’s a great pleasure to supply a clock that is going to be a treasured part of someone’s home.

We collect and deliver

You can drop off your clock if that is easier but we always look to deliver and install a repaired clock to make sure it is running properly back in its home.

We repair cases

Often overlooked, despite a clock case being vital to how your clock looks and even how well it runs.
